What my husband, Aragon, discovered was awesome.

In difficult economic times, folks don’t have the same amounts of cash they have in the good times. So they cut back on spending on furniture and other large purchases. But they tend to spend even more on…

In fact, Aragon discovered that, in the Great Depression, following the 1929 Wall Street crash, the cosmetics industry really took off.

Many famous brands, such as Revlon, were actually created then and many new products, such as Revlon’s nail enamel and Max Factor’s Lip Gloss made their appearance.

Nowadays, cosmetics are a regular item for most women, so it’s hard to imagine that up until the 1930s only rich folk could afford cosmetics.

And the real explosive growth came about because everyone in the Depression demanded products that didn’t cost a kings ransom – but did make them feel like royalty.

And cosmetics fitted the bill perfectly! And the way folks seek to make themselves feel good today hasn’t changed much. But the science has! Check out this video:

What’s more, although cosmetics were only of interest to women… now the guys are just as keen as the girls to stay young! So the market has doubled!

These days we are all living far longer than the 1930s.  And, when rock and roll was invented in the 1950s, folks tended to retire from a lifetime of toil aged around 65 – and were dead, a few years later.

But nowadays, there are 500 million folks, worldwide, who are over 65 – many well into their mid 80s.

Not that I knew any of this, when I became involved with my MLM company. All I knew was I wanted the product and I simply joined just to make a little money to pay for my purchase!

And about that time, Aragon was seeing his job start to disappear, so I kept on working my busines, even once I’d paid for my purchase. You see, I figured I could make a contribution to the family finances if things got really tough.

Eventually, it all started to come together for me and I am living an amazing life.
